Yes. Once you find someone suitable, you can message them directly in the app to discuss the job.
Does The Exchange handle project budgets or pricing?
No. Job pricing and scope are agreed directly between you and the subcontractor — The Exchange is the platform that connects you, not the contract.

What plans are available?
Exchange Pro for subcontractors, Business for companies posting jobs, and Hybrid Pro for those who want to do both from one profile.
What's the difference between the plans?
Exchange Pro is built for finding work, Business is built for posting jobs and finding subcontractors, and Hybrid Pro includes everything in both plans plus unlimited job posts and a verified business badge.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts — change your plan or cancel whenever you need to.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes, you save 20% on any plan when you choose yearly billing instead of monthly.
Trust & Safety
How does verification work?
You can verify your identity, ABN, trade licences and insurance directly through the platform, so profiles reflect real, checked information.
Are reviews and ratings genuine?
Yes. Reviews can only be left by businesses and subcontractors who've actually connected and worked together through the platform.
Does The Exchange handle payments between users?
No. Payment for work is arranged directly between the business and the subcontractor — The Exchange only handles membership billing.
What payment methods do you accept for membership?
We accept all major debit and credit cards for monthly or yearly membership billing.
